DAY 1

"Foundations in Action — Hands-On Cutting, Styling, and Professional Techniques.”
  • We’ll welcome you into our beautiful Carriage Barn and get you settled at your training station before diving into the essentials: Health & Safety, product knowledge, and client consultation.
  • Next, you’ll join your first live demonstration with Holly Preston, who will guide you step-by-step through sectioning techniques and a flawless one-length cut, complete with long layers and a symmetrical shape to frame the face. You’ll also learn blow-drying, styling, and finishing techniques, all with one-to-one guidance. Students will practice alongside Holly using the highest quality human hair training heads.
  • You’ll explore a wide variety of styling techniques using professional products and methods designed for long-lasting results. This includes creating Hollywood waves, bouncy curls, beachy waves, tight curls, and loose curls using heated tools.
  • You’ll also master backcombing for unbeatable volume and learn how to adjust heated tools for different effects. Practice using a range of tongs, GHDs, and heated rollers to perfect each style.

DAY 2

“Perfecting Cuts, Mastering Fringes, and Styling with Finesse.”
  • Day 2 is all about practice, refinement, and building confidence. You’ll spend the majority of the day hands-on, applying the techniques learned on Day 1 under one-to-one guidance from Holly.
  • You’ll continue perfecting your one-length cuts and long layers, ensuring precision, symmetry, and balance in every style. You’ll also focus on fringes, mastering how to create flattering shapes for different face types, and learning the subtle details that elevate a cut from good to exceptional.
  • In addition to cutting, you’ll explore advanced styling and finishing techniques. This includes experimenting with different textures, creating sleek, polished looks, and practising versatile waves and curls using heated tools. You’ll learn how to combine products, backcombing, and heat settings to achieve volume, movement, and long-lasting results.
  • Throughout the day, you’ll work on premium human hair training heads, allowing you to refine your skills in a realistic, professional environment. The combination of live demonstrations, personalised guidance, and practical application ensures you leave Day 2 more confident, precise, and ready to take your cutting and styling to the next level.

DAY 3

“Precision Meets Creativity — Master the Graduated Bob.”
  • Day 3 is all about creativity, precision, and iconic style. This is the day you’ll put your new skill-set to the ultimate test by mastering the Graduated Bob — one of the most timeless, versatile, and sought-after hairstyles in the world of professional hairdressing. With as much guidance as you need from Holly, you’ll learn to execute this signature cut with diamond-precision, creating clean lines, perfect angles, and flawless symmetry that make the cut truly iconic.
  • You’ll also discover how to infuse your own creative flair, turning a classic cut into a personalised masterpiece that reflects your style and vision. This isn’t just about cutting hair — it’s about crafting a look that commands attention and exudes confidence.
  • Throughout the day, you’ll continue to refine your styling and finishing techniques, experimenting with textures, movement, and volume to achieve stunning, professional results that last. Learn to combine tools, products, and heat techniques to create everything from sleek, polished finishes to soft, modern waves and curls.
  • Hands-on practice is at the heart of the day. Working on premium human hair training heads, you’ll experience the precision, control, and professionalism required for real-world client results. By the end of Day 3, you won’t just have mastered an advanced cut — you’ll have elevated your artistry, gained confidence in your creative decisions, and developed a technique that will impress your clients.

DAY 4

"​Master the Iconic Pixie Cut — Precision, Texture, and Catwalk-Ready Style.”
  • Day 4 is all about advanced short hair cutting and styling, with a focus on the iconic Pixie Cut. After mastering medium and long hair, you’ll now learn to create this fashion-forward, statement short style with precision and flair.
  • Under Holly’s expert guidance, you’ll dive into hands-on practical training, mastering clean lines, texture, and movement to create a perfectly balanced Pixie Cut. You’ll explore short hair styling techniques using heated tools, professional products, and styling paste and wax, achieving a textured, modern finish that looks like it’s just come straight from the catwalk salon.
  • This day gives you the chance to gain confidence and creativity with short hair, experimenting with contemporary shapes while refining your technical skill. By the end of Day 4, you’ll be fully equipped to deliver perfect Pixie Cuts and textured short hairstyles with precision, flair, and professional polish.
